 It was sheer serendipity that we stumbled upon Murakami. We were actually headed to another sushi spot less than a mile away.  All I can say is that for once, it is a good thing I am such an impatient person (and happened to be pretty starvacious in that moment) AND that the other sushi place was not officially "open" for another whopping 17 minutes! (did I mention I was impatient??)
The ambiance was not all that, but anyone who knows me knows that that means nothing so long as the grub rocks, service is decent and the joint is clean. So, fair warning-- if you're looking to impress a date you don't know all that well and think fancy-shmancy presentation will get you somewhere, this is not your place.
