Holly Wood 16 Details
It's true, you can time travel... back to 1993. This Hollywood Theater
is a surviving relic to how movie houses were built in the early 90s --
and it's a novelty to go and visit this place just for that reason...
but there are other reasons to check this place out.
If you're into first run movies, hate crowds and don't care about 3D nor crazy sound systems, this is the place to go. I saw the latest Bat Man the day after opening by simply waltzing over and grabbing a choice seat 10 minutes before go time.
The seats are low backed, but very thick cushioned. The screen sizes are good, but basic. The audio is fine, but not superior. The concessions are standard. The lobby is about 5 times larger than it needs to be. This place has been in "gonna be closed for renovations" limbo for years.
